The only fiction to feature the Scaris: City of Frights fashion are the 2013 TV specials "Scaris: City of Frights" and "From Fear to Eternity". All dolls and playsets are given time in the TV special. Since Jinafire's, Skelita's, and Catrine's fashion double as their standard outfits, general Monster High fiction too promotes those.
Jinafire's doll was supposed to be part of a later wave, but a few made it to stores early. The doll did not become widely available until December.
