Mega Bloks is one of the core branches of Mega Brands, which Mattel became the owner of in 2014. It is a line of Lego-like construction blocks that are sold in themed sets but can be rearranged and combined as one pleases. Upon acquisition, Mattel assigned a number of its franchises to the line, among which Monster High. The first products were on display at American International Toy Fair 2015 and hit shelves a few months later. The lineup ranges from loose figurines to large playsets.
Starting Late 2016, Mega Bloks got split up into a brand for ages 1-5 and for ages 4+, the latter becoming Mega Construx.[1] Monster High is part of the Mega Construx section and has been branded as such since Ghouls Skullection IV.

Ghouls Skullection (CNF78)[]
The Ghouls Skullection is a series of mini figures packaged only with an iCoffin and a flat brick to stand on. It lasted for four waves, the first three consisting of eight figures each and the fourth comprising six, for a total of 30 products. A fifth wave of six mini figures was planned, but ultimately not released.
