In Monster High, she is the voice of Frankie Stein and Lilith Van Hellscream.

SPAX: Since you then got into voice acting in 2002, what got you interested in that?
KATE: I fell into it when i moved to LA. I was recording music at a studio where an exec from Disney heard me talking and liked my voice. She suggested I call her and talk to her about vo work. Then it all kind of just took off from there.[1]
Kate appeared in a 2007 documentary Wikipedia:Adventures in Voice Acting. In a Shonen Jump interview, she gave advice to would-be voice actors.[2]
Personal and Professional Life

Higgins earned a degree in music from Auburn University. She is a trained pianist who studied with the jazz pianist, Bob Richardson. As well as voice acting, Higgins pursued her music career in jazz. She plays piano and has worked as a sideperson for many musicians. She released the first jazz album by her own name The Tide is Low in 2002 and has had several come out since. She gave birth to her first son, Beckett in 2009 and her second son, Foster in 2010 with her husband Jess Lofland.
