"Frights, Camera, Action!" is a TV special to be released in 2014. Clawdia Wolf, Elissabat, Honey Swamp, and Viperine Gorgon will make their animated debuts. The tie-in lines are Frights, Camera, Action! - Hauntlywood and Frights, Camera, Action! - Black Carpet.

Story

"Frights, Camera, Action!" will detail the adventure the ghouls have in trying to find the missing vampire queen, Elissabat, and an object described as the Vampire Heart that is used to decide who is the true queen of the vampires. The adventure will have the ghouls visit Londoom, New Gorleans, and Hauntlywood as they follow Elissabat's trail.

On March 12, 2013, Julie Maddalena Kliewer made a Facebook post containing: "Just worked on the next Monster High movie!! It's a great new adventure for Robecca and Draculaura!!!!" It is likely that this is related to "Frights, Camera, Action!", as both Draculaura and Robecca have close ties to Elissabat and the Vampire Heart.

In general, the character theme of Frights, Camera, Action! seems to be familiarity. Clawdia is Clawdeen's and Clawd's older sister, whom are both confirmed characters to be featured. Viperine is Deuce's cousin, whom also is confirmed to be present in the TV special. Elissabat is a childhood friend of Draculaura and the two used to be mistaken for sisters constantly when they were little. And Honey is from the same city as Operetta, who will also appear in Frights, Camera, Action!. Additionally, when the Frights, Camera, Action! characters were introduced at Comic-Con 2013, so too was the new character Jane Boolittle. She is not related to the Frights, Camera, Action! doll series, and if she appear in "Frights, Camera, Action!" is so far unclear. It is of note that her trademark was requested on the same day as the one for Hexiciah Steam, Robecca's missing father. Hexiciah is said in Elissabat's Frights, Camera, Action! - Hauntlywood diary to be the one who helped her run away and who still has the Vampire Heart in his possession. Given that Robecca is one of the starring characters, chances are he too will be featured.
