Catina Duscio is one of the background dancers in the Monster High Fright Song music video.
Her younger sister, Angela Duscio is the lead dancer in the music video.
Catina has been dancing competitively for over 11 years and has been awarded several overall soloist standings across Canada throughout her dance career. She has also received many scholarship awards in workshops she has attended such as VIP Jump, VIP Nuvo, Triple Threat, Overall Outstanding dancer at Star Power and many more with Brian Freidman, Blake McGrath, Mia Michaels, Ray Leeper, Chris Judd, Annie Wood, Gil Stroming, Mike Minery, Faye Rauw and Frank Augustyn to mention a few.
Catina has won the All Ontario Talent Competition with her dance and as a youngster was part of the Raptors Junior Dance Pack performing at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto.
Catina is frequently invited to perform at benefits and functions as a soloist and with her group. The QC hip hop group has recently performed by invitation at the Pulse Convention in New York City and her contemporary group has performed for the Heart & Music Benefit in Toronto. Catina has also been invited to perform as the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Nutcracker with the Cambridge Symphony to mention a few.
Catina continues to train extensively in dance and voice and has been accepted into every University dance program of her choice by personal invitation or on the spot during her audition. Catina is presently working at the Etobicoke School of the Arts as Team Leader for their Production “Splash” and continues to assist the very accomplished instructor, chorographer and adjudicator Miss Annie Wood.
Personal and Professional Life
Catina has been excited to pass on her knowledge for the past 4 years, teaching and encouraging young dancers, while broadened her skills with choreographing at the Junior competitive level with great success.
Catina at her young age and with her humble personality has already left a very positive impression in the dance world. Known by judges, teachers and her peers as an outstanding technician and performer, Catina inspires and motivates everyone around her.
